Networking Nowadays

Before the social media explosion, before cell phones, and even before the internet, individuals in business would build their networks through regular personal interaction with other individuals at business functions and various other means of contact. Now, there really is no limit on the size or the scope of an individual's network. Through the internet, more specifically through social media sites such as LinkedIn, and through cell phones, an individual can build a network of people around the world without ever even meeting them!
